Fox 5's Hometown Series Interviews The Good Earth - July 9, 2010

Fox 5 TV broadcast the news live from Leonardtown on Friday, July 9 from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. The broadcast was part of Fox 5's Hometown Series in July. The Good Earth was featured talking about local produce and products at the waterfront.

Local Flavor, Local Fare - June 23, 2009
For the recently held, Local Flavor, Local Fare event in Leonardtown, The Good Earth served Curried Sweet Potato Salad using Beauregard Sweet Potatoes from EVEN’STAR Farm in St. Mary’s County and Scallions from Busy Corner Farm. Ticket sales for the event go to support Patuxent Habitat for Humanity.

May 13 - Shirley Pauole, Reflexologist, graciously donated her time during the day. Terry got to take advantage of her presence! May 15 - Dick, from DOPS, educated are customers on various beers and wine during his vist. He is seen here offering Nancy an Organic, No Detectable Sulfites, red wine. May 16 - Norma, from Amy's Kitchen, sampled out delicious chili, salsa, and their mexican casserole. No one went alway hungry from the store while Norma was here! May 18 - Diana, representing Flora, talks with Dennis about Udo's Oil. She raffled off a running shirt which was won by Dennis! May 21 - Paul from Nature's Path shared some yummy product samples with Erica, a long time customer! Paul also raffled off a shopping bag filled with Nature's Path products and a set of bamboo bowls and spoons. Even'Star Sweet Potato - Carin picks out a St. Mary's homegrown sweet potato. Marin (on the left) from The Joy Lane Healing Center networked and Leanora Winters (on the right) donated reflexology to some lucky customers. Marin pointed out the Solar Rainbow during The Joy Lane Healing Center visit.
